CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES (HEART DISEASE)

Cardiovascular disease is a general term used to describe diseases related to the heart and / or the blood vessels. There are many, many different types of cardiovascular diseases. This website will offer you links to other sites for further investigation. It is important to learn at least the basics about these diseases since, taken together, they are the leading cause of death in this country. There are also several behaviors that can affect your risk of developing some of these diseases.
